Digital Media Intern

Cohear is seeking a Digital Media intern to join our team for the spring of 2022. This position will work side-by-side with Cohear’s creative team in the production of original content suitable across all owned digital media channels. This position will be paid $15/hr, and requires a minimum of a 12-week commitment. This position will be remote until further notice. The intern can start immediately and will be expected to work between 15-20 hours weekly.
Activities Include:
Draft and edit creative copy including social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and email
Schedule digital communications and creatives using content management software
Track and record digital media metrics/performance across all owned media channels
Provide support to increase Cohear’s content performance across all owned media
Assist in the ideation of creative content targeted at audience growth and engagement
Assist other staff as needed
Skills:
Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
Ability to synthesize rich insights into impact-driven messaging tailored to digital media
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Clear, effective writing
Strong curiosity and willingness to brainstorm creative ideas and offer solutions
Eagerness to have flexible day-to-day responsibilities, and a capacity to adapt to new projects and opportunities
Commitment to making positive change at the local level
Preferred Skills:
Experience in graphic design and knowledge of creation platforms like Canva
Experience using content management systems like Hootsuite and Mailchimp
Experience in Wix
Experience in research and public policy
