We are excited to introduce you to Cohears' newest Communications Intern, Ewurabena Edufua Kramph.
We’re so excited to have you on the Cohear team! How did you first hear about Cohear and what was your initial impression?
Growing up in an environment where women were silenced in so many communities because of culture, I was fascinated by Cohear. I decided to check the organization’s LinkedIn profile. I was instantly drawn to the community engagement on the profile which is something I am passionate about. I then went to the organization’s website to learn more about what the mission was and how the organization reached out to people. I decided to join the team because I believe in what Cohear does and I am always looking for opportunities that help me make a difference in people’s lives.
Can you tell us a little bit about your background and studies?
I pursued a dual master’s degree in Public Administration and African Studies at Ohio University. I have interests in community engagement, nonprofits, and social entrepreneurship which seeks to make positive impacts in the community.
What are you most excited about in your role at Cohear?
The exciting thing for me is the training that comes with this role. I will be able to learn the culture of the office and execute my duties as expected of me. Also, Networking and building connections through this process.
Yes, I find the lunchtime where colleagues talk about other things not work-related very enjoyable. I like the way the team works in a very collaborative and passionate way. I enjoy working in a team environment, and I get along well with people.
What are some of the goals you hope to get out of an internship with Cohear?
My goal is to achieve long-term professional growth in this organization and to be able to help Cohear achieve its mission and goals. I believe that this internship will provide me with professional skills to be very effective in my work.

Passionate, goal-oriented, and Team player

Collaboration, Teamwork, and Passion
Do you have a favorite travel destination?
Yes, I plan to visit Bali in Indonesia because it is a beautiful place.
How about your favorite movie or TV show?
Silicon Valley because it motivates me to keep chasing my dreams.
Anything else you want to add or share about yourself?
I like Vanilla Ice cream and Vanilla cake
